40 Years of Star Wars!!!! My thoughts
In 1977, George Lucas released a small indie film called Star Wars. Expecting it to be an ultimate failure, Lucas took a trip to Hawaii and prepared for the worst for when he returned. However much to his utter dismay, the film was an instant success, with people lining up around the block and plenty of sold out theaters. Since then the film has spawned plenty of films, games, TV shows, an amazing legacy, and countless of dedicated and die-hard fans.
Now enough with the pointless history lesson (that you probably already know). I just wanted to share my thoughts about this anniversary and my experiences and memories of this movie series. A lot of this will be how Star Wars has played a part in my life.
I feel really happy that Star Wars has actually lasted for 40 whole years. It really amazes me that it's reached great lengths of success. Especially in recent years. These movies have always had a special place in both mine and in millions of other people's hearts. And it's
Star Wars: Retrospective
*** POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD ***
Has it really been forty years since Star Wars first premiered in cinemas across the world? ...yes, it has! Oh, the stories I could tell, Star Wars has been with me for as long as I can remember. I'm sure my story correlates with that of just about everyone else on the planet, but I'm going to talk a bit about it anyway, because hey, I can't miss the occasion to celebrate!
The oldest thing in my admittedly small SW collection: a protractor from Helix, dated 1977.
My earliest memory of the Star Wars series dates back to around the time of The Phantom Menace. One might say I was born timely - while the original versions of the movies were still in circulation. I'll come back to that. I'm not entirely certain of the details, but it began quite clearly with my grandparents' VHS tapes. At the time there were only three movies in the series: Star W
Star Wars rebels season 3: The thoughts so far...
I saw the last episode of rebels, and the whole time I was watching I was wondering something, why is Rebels so childish?
I mean they don't kill any characters when they have a good setup for it. There's a scene in the episode where (I'm just going to call him "the pig")
was shooting at the "scary" sentry droids out of fear. They could've killed "the pig" so easy. But they didn't, that would end his character story fine, since he didn't serve anything to the story anyway. And Hondo, He used to be really funny. And he was somewhat funny in this episode like making a joke about Kanan's blindness. But it's getting to the point where there's a repeat story with him, He comes in, offers the Rebels something to help them with, then betrays them, then leaves. And this happens over and over and over. I know what your going to say, He did the same thing in the TCW. Yes, and no. He did it in way where it was still kinda funny like in season 1. But it could be serious as well, like in seaso

The force awakens reveiw
Well you have been waiting for my opinion for a long time.
When I watched the movie for the first time I was left speechless. It took me a day to gather my thoughts on the movie.
1. The director
J.J. Abrams is a good director, I had big expectations for this movie when I heard he was working on it.
And a lot of my expectations were met he really did a good job with the story.
2. The characters
Rey, Finn, and Poe are really entertaining to watch.
So far the character I like the most is Poe.
